Q. I would like to know about your neighborhood. What does your neighborhood look like? Please describe neighborhood in as much detail as possible.

A.My apartment is located in the downtown area of Seoul, one of the largest and busiest city in Korea. Its atmosphere is active and lively all day and night. I was born and raised in this city so I have a great affection for it. I believe that there are so many good things about my neighborhood and I would like to talk about some of them today.

To start with, I have easy access to restaurants, cafes, convenience stores and so on. I know every inch of the city. Thus I never worry about where to hang out with my friends in my neighborhood.

What’s more, it has a good transportation system. It’s only a 5 minute walk to a bus stop.

Another good thing about living here is food delivery. There is a variety of restaurants within walking distance and I can get different kinds of food delivered 24/7. The food delivery always lives up to my expectations. All I need to do is just make a phone call to a restaurant and wait for a few minutes.

All in all, it’s a fact that my neighborhood is bustling 24/7 but I still believe that is a great place to live.

Q. Can you tell me about your neighbors? Describe one of your neighbors in detail. How did you first become acquainted with that neighbor? Are you close to the person? What do you usually do together?

A. I live in an apartment complex, so there are lots of people who lives in my building. I’ve gotten to know quite a few of them, but my favorite neighbor is Joo-young. Who lives downstairs of my house. Joo young and I are both 23 years old.

She has brown hair and eyes. She opens up to people easily and is very outgoing. I first met her at school and immediately struck up a conversation with me. We’ve been really close ever since. We like to cook together. Usually I visit her house and cook some food and eat with joo young. I think I’m lucky to have such a good neighbor.

Q. Please tell me about a memorable experience you have had in your neighborhood. When and where did it occur? What happened that made the experience so memorable? Please describe in detail.

A.    I had a memorable experience in my neighborhood. As I recall my memory, it was last July. While stretching at the gym, I suddenly got a message from my old friend. When I looked around the gym, I saw someone familiar staring at me. In a matter of seconds, I thought of my old friends from middle school. So I took a close look at her face and I couldn’t believe my eyes! It was Hee young! We went to same middle school. Back then, she and I had a lot in common in terms of personality and interests. So talking with her made me lose sense of time. Anyway, I could not recognize her at a first glance because she had changed so much from the past. I still cannot believe that I randomly met my old friend in my neighborhood. Since then, we have kept in tough via SNS. Recently, she made me a bracelet. It was such a pleasant and precious experience.
